Located in the heart of Clifton Village, this end house of a 3 storey 1960`s terrace was originally built in the Span style with prominent cross walls, exposed floor edges, full height window panels and infill horizontal boarding.
We were commissioned to design an extension to create enlarged accommodation and to achieve interesting and modern space which opened into the high walled courtyard garden.
Internally the layout was completely re-worked and features such as a double height space and bespoke timber and steel stair were added. The tall space is lit by aluminium framed walling rising two storeys, above which is a glass panelled balcony leading from the re-located master bedroom.
