This house in Redland, Bristol previously had a small, cold lean-to rear extension that functioned as little more than a store.
The resulting design is strikingly contemporary yet still a sensitive addition within the Conservation Area. The replacement provides the homeowner with additional space for home office / dining. Large bi-fold doors aid versatility, making for a very light and open entertaining space.
During the planning process a detailed 3d sun shadow analysis was required to satisfy the Planners that the proposals would not have a detrimental effect on amenities of neighbours.
