Following a devastating fire at the Listed former Aardman warehouse in Bristol, we managed the careful removal of the large volume of deformed steelwork that formed the now collapsed roof structure.
Upon site clearance remedial works could be carried out to brace the walls making the structure safe again.
We were asked to explore options for redevelopment of the site as a mixed use development incorporating apartments with commercial units below. The scheme retains the historic features of the building’s shell and follows the original geometry of the building, while providing high quality contemporary living accommodation with a central atrium.
